This is a recording a performance we did at the wonderful jewelbox Theatre, a fifty seat flea pit (although the fleas have temporarily decamped) on Wednesday 5th September, 2007. It was made by Andrew Senna of Aphonia Recordings with his minidisc. Andy and his friend and label partner Ben Robertson are young visionaries of the Seattle music scene promoting a very wide and innovative range of music. Also on the bill Hell's Bellows!, a sensational accordion quartet who quickly bust out of folky shackles and dealt some killer song blows in four part vocal harmony on top of the unfamiliar and delightful textures of accordian en masse. The gig was organised by Amy Denio, angel songbird of 46th Street, West Seattle, who also put us up, blew our minds and made us tacos and beans. The sound engineer was the inimitable Jason Glover, music guerilla and founder member of Seattle maddest band.
